You remember, back in the day it was a gold rush of epic proportions, lines of people chopping at the bit for those amazing deals that they only got a couple of times a year that has now become a trickle at best! I can’t begin to tell you how sad this is, all the GM’s are scrambling, All the DM’s are desperately trying to regurgitate every tactic that’s ever been used with the same lack of success!

@UgWLsav-2dkx Leena is running a website that is in need of more users particularly associates participation. The lowest hanging fruits for her is to cut off associate discount. Her logic is that once you have points you will come back again and again. Unknowing to her is that associates when they buy stuff they wanted instant discount, not waiting and have it expired a month later. The points thing is valuable for people who gaming the system to get free stuffs. Leena is too dumb to know that.

Yep, just like a BOGO event. I remember when a BOGO event was a much rarer thing, and when we had it, it generated a lot of customer excitement. Now a typical BOGO 50% off for most retailers is ran so often nobody cares, because a lot of customers knows it's simply a glorified 25% off each item.

Well, I guess there is such a thing as a doedoe, but the term is slang and @1fsn is probably too old to know what it means, or that there is a song by Webbie that references it. Anyone who actually uses a dictionary is definitely very old school. It is a rather crude term but all you have to do is google the term and it pops right up. Looks like @1fsn is the id--t.
@UgWLsav-1bwq So it was Leena that basically said to get rid of out discount? What a selfish woman honestly the little benefit of working in this company to get rid of our discount. Which as you said made F&F much more relevant I remember lots of co workers spending money to buy stuff at that time so I am sure it helped the company recover some money.
Anyhow for some odd reason my store did good this F&F don't know how, but not like its going to change anything.
F&F is a joke now. I haven't bought a single thing since they took our discount away. No reason to regardless of the promotion. Was special out a full kitchen to couple with F&F and use the savings to buy the longer PA's then poof no more. Cheaper at competitor. No longer any reason to support my own team. Regardless of the promotions.
When Leena took away the associate discount F&F is no longer relevant to many employees. Sears lost more money by giving away free points than it lost money giving associate discount. When people who knew nothing about running a retail business made stupid decision the company went downhill.

No signing, no emails, no announcement from management for F&F. We were told on Friday morning to invite everyone we knew to come but most people were off because we did not get a truck. Today was dead and really no sales worth getting out of bed for.
Too much bad feelings from customers and employees
We used to have alot of Sears retirees come in on F&F to make purchases and to chat with employees.....Most of those retirees don't even bother coming in for F&F anymore.....Sears has ticked them off.
This year F&F is so lame its just a 10 percent off extra no more. At this point they don't even want to offer deals its just that they are desperate to give you the very least discount for a sale. Its gotten hella sad how this events are just so weak nothing special this year.
@kcu They have your customers put down their name and number on the "Commitment Form" too, in addition to filling out a recap?
It used to be that you would find good deals during F&F. Now anytime we advertise additional 10% or 15%, the promo price is raised up so with the "additional" discount it is the same as before or slightly below the normal promotional price. Then they do it more often than before and it degrades the event over time. Do they really think our customers are that stupid? And they wonder why people quit coming.
There ARE no friends. The family was laid-off.
