Thread regarding Intel Corp. layoffs

Not So Easy to Run a SemiCo Company...

I think all of the Intel HR experts and executives are learning or re-learning that it is not so easy to run a vertically integrated semicon company. Heck, it is likely that the acting CEO is still learning the Intel acronyms and simply has no real chance to make any operational or R&D improvements. Also, what individual is brave enough to risk their reputation and future career and take over as Intel CEO in light of the condition that Intel is in (thanks to BK and others)? Good luck.

Well some of us joked they will raffle off the CEO position at the 50years Intel party. Somebody said: "What if it's the cleaning lady?" Me:"Doesn't matter she will probably do an outstanding job! “

Ah well everybody be prepared for ACT phase 3 in 2019!

Listen to the Earnings Call. Lots of had-waving on 10nm and DCG margins.

They are not learning anything. The clique of self-promoting, bloviating backstabbers at the top is now only looking for who to blame for the earnings report and stock debacle.
