The priority of middle management is the same as always : political fights, gaming focal, removing dissenters, building empires.
They could not give a damn about product success.

Middle mgmt is as useless as tits on a bull. They hire to fire and to protect themselves. Whenever their orgs are in danger, they simply layoff personnel to show that they are doing something for the company. They don't give a damn about improving the product nor listening to any ideas from their teams. They only serve their mastets.
They are rats and c---roaches, not one of them has the tiniest bit of morality. All they care about is climbing the ladder.
And also parroting the incompetent top execs.
