Thread regarding Oracle Corp. layoffs

Length of non-solicit agreement

Could someone let me know what’s the length of the NSA after leaving Oracle in CA? I tried to find it but was not successful. Also, if layed off with a package, does it still start on the last date in the company? Thanks!

Don’t solicit them, have them send you their resume on their own, and bingo you can now hire them

NSA does apply to individuals. Check your sign on agreement. The answer is 6 months.

The NSA applies to companies, not to individuals.

If you have friends that are still at Oracle after you have been layed off, I don't think they need much in the way of solicitation to leave. :) My guess is that Oracle doesn't care very much either as it saves them money if employees leave on their own.
