Interior Sign Repair

My Die Hard auto sign (inside above the batteries) is missing the I. How can we get it fixed? I'm not going to pebble about it.

O.P-- If a missing "I" is all you have to worry about then I would consider yourself lucky. The one thing that SHC is not concerned about is looking professional. Or even looking like a business that cares.

From not having A/C in the summer to no heat in the winter, broken and rusted fixtures, peeling paint, leaking roofs, rodents and bugs, mold, broken equipment, dangerous equipment and the list goes on, the one thing SHC is not going to do is invest in a store. The only thing that they are doing is dimming lights, cutting back hours, closing stores and trying to get credit card sign ups.

@1smh - It's good to know that you have the initiative in keeping your store presentable, but you have to understand that there will be no investment whatsoever in the stores. I can make a long list of things we needed fixed or replaced at my store, but never was. We've been stuck with a sign writer printer literally held together with duct tape for years, and it's always breaking down. We've had to use the office printer to print ad and there have been a few times where both printers were out of order. Our break room sink has very low water pressure, the water is just a trickle and yes, the valves are open all the way. One of our entry doors are warped so badly that it binds and screeches whenever a customer opens it. We've got roof leaks too. The QMT and the managers are well aware of the situations but are powerless to do anything about it because they will not get approval to fix or replace the different things that need fixing or replacing.

I am the OP. I did ask the SM and nothing has happened. We don't have a ASM. The "I" has been missing from the sign for almost 10 months. It looks very unprofessional. I posted here because I thought someone might know a way to get it done.

One of the reason why Sears is going down hill because an employee like this not doing their work properly. Don't want to use pebble then talk to your SM or ASM. Better yet quit.

Maybe one of Eddies other companies or one of his family members companies can get you another sign. It'll be 20 grand + installation

O.P, thank you for your request but at this time the DC is OOS on all "I's". We are working on securing a new vendor and expect the new "i's" to be delivered in 6-8 weeks.

Call QMT, don't expect results or miracles though. Honestly, if you have a store nearby that is closing see if you can have theirs. It would most likely be a faster and more efficient solution.

Go to nearest closing store and rip it off their wall. Return to your store and replace it. No one will reward you in any way so don't expect it.

Or, call QMT and have them take it down and paint over the area
