Hearing that the HRM restructure is going to start rolling out 7-31-18. Any body else hearing this?

All the HR managers in our market were in a meeting today. And this market has already been operation with 1 HR Manager for 2-3 stores.
Our store HR manager "quit" effective Aug 31st.
Our HRM doesn’t do anything except plan parties. Getting rid of her would free up money for “more customer facing associates” oh wait we all know how well that went when the dept managers and asms were let go. No new associates but it sure sounded good for Wall Street.
Are the stores consolidating or just hr?
It’s true many Lowe’s stores will consolidate to make more money. Get resume ready
On another website they are saying the same thing. I don’t know if it is true.
