Has anyone heard a rumor that the "Fine" Jewelry portion of the Jewelry Complex going away? We have been a Total Complex for a few years.
They have just combined ALL of cosmetics, so now all counters are responsible for all counters "PRE sale" goals...like Sephora.
Has anyone heard of any changes in Fine Jewelry or the Jewelry Complex??

Fine jewelry is a different animal than cosmetics. FJ is a high security area, therefore I do not see what is happening in cosmetics to apply to your area. What may be a possibility, leasing out FJ like it used to be. Sterling jewelry used to be a lease in Federated stores. When we all became Macy's, We stopped leasing out FJ and retained the Macy's buyers for this area. It might make sense to consider leasing again..that way we offer the product without having millions of dollars invested in inventory that is fairly slow moving.
