Another Re-org

Looks like another re-org is happening? Any word on when or where. Or is it the usual Thanksgiving layoffs

Unfortunately, there aren't sufficient cost savings from making the ELT redundant; plus there is a need for continuity. I don't think this is a reorg.; at least not in the traditional sense; the type that's been going on for the past 10 years; they simply haven't worked. This is a mass restructuring and monetizing of assets to paydown 14B debt and generate a profit for BS.

Well, the leopard can’t change its spots by renaming itself Refinitiv if you leave more or less the same incompetent LT in place. For the Middle East you can add that they also want no women in the LT, just lots of underlings that don’t mention that the emperor is not wearing any clothes...

Blackstone claims to have the smartest pool of talent. Yet, I don't get how they gave the CIO job to a person who sounds always drunk. May be he is chosen by them intentionally to funnel some money to Mphasis, yet another Blackstone owned company added to the preferred vendors list. In today's call he mentioned about the current IT contract ends in 2020 with IBM and they are working on a strategy with other vendors.

Another Q. came about the diversity in the ELT, people should know that the Global head of HR for inclusion and diversity has been axed, refer people ELT announcement.

PS: https://www.thinkfcm.com are the consultants used by Blackstone for Refinitiv

DC thinks that keeping the first three layers is moving beyond the speed of change, Blackstone would be laughing on thier a****s

Refinitiv offers packages that are attractive to employees but you are bound to stay for ?? months with them before fully getting the offer: payment for years of service, advance salaries, continuous tenurity, etc.

Saying Yes is like still working with k*s colleagues and incompetent superiors.

Well said. 15% cuts coming in TR. Mckinsey review will decide locations to close and teams to cut. Focus on the controllables. Resume, network building, interview skills, up-skilling.

We cannot control any of this ... but we must not let it control us. Insecurity s---s in the work place and I am tired of worrying. I 'm stealing a quote from somewhere "I'd rather be at the bottom of a mountain I want to climb than at the top of one I never wanted to be" Don't wait until your pushed,)
