Why do you need luck? You'll get it as long as you don't screw up. Chances are you're dead weight and can't adapt to new technologies. Try not to fall off a ladder.

@1hid: Thanks. I’m craft. I am a SET in Pa. So, with this (probable) contract extension my plan is to retire in Jan. 2020.
18 months. Wow, you’re lucky if the contract gets extended, would have been lousy to come up 6 months short.
Are you craft or management? If you're craft, I'm pretty sure all you'll have to do is NOT kick the bucket to get to 30 years. Either way, good luck!
