Has anybody here been promoted within Bank of America without knowing their manager privately or without being related to somebody higher up?
If you have, can you share your secret please?
I'm tired of being passed over in favor of people who barely know how to tie their own shoes because their uncle/godmother/second cousin twice removed makes sure it happens.
No promotions in Legal for staff unless you are supporting the views of the Business Support Managers who plot and plan each others demise on a daily basis. TOXIC work environment.
Well I hardly received any so-called-promotion when I was there but it should be irrelevant - you either do your job well or you don't - in a place that is in many ways (IMHO) a kleptocracy, your so-called position in their scheme matter only if you want to participate in their sport, not the job itself :-)
Should work for most promotions
Please update your comments with promotion you are trying to get I.e. AVP, VP, SVP,Director.... there are different strategies for each.
