What do you do?

What do you do when your supervisor completely throws you under the buss with a verbally abusive customer? Even if the situation was completely the customers fault and he was fully aware of it?

And then he just expects you to accept it and move on like nothing happened?

The only thing managers care about is their customer service score. If we were being robbed they would offer to giftwrap the merchandise to insure a favorable response to a survey card.
