Thread regarding Sam's Club layoffs

August 4th wireless sales

Directv has done a horrible job doing appointments. Sales are really bad compared to last years events. Have people asking for us because they were treated bad by the directv rep.

Our event was bad as well. Members complained about how they were treated by smart circle. Sales have been down compared to last year. I spent alot of time training them so no excuses on knowing the system. Problem is that they hire more folks and are training them. I use that term "training" loosely.

HO directive was that Sam's associates set the appointments.

Yeah they started last month. And they were thrown in without much training. The other day they called a supervisor to show them how to do the gift card... Lol.

Throw them in?... they've had over 3months here plus a 2 weeks training.

I mean... If you throw them in with just a user manual for WARP and hardly any register training... What were they expecting? 😂

They'll call over a supervisor for help and they have no WARP training but are able to stumble through it because they understand how Sam's system in general work....

In our market we had to do the appointments while they just did the activations.

Go figure. I've been the only one in electronics for the past 3 days doing activations non stop but can't work more than 8hrs a day to not go into overtime.
