If your team can’t pass OTS and become certified then your leadership s---s and should go. My teams passed perfectly the first go around over a year ago, it’s not difficult. Keep it clean and organized and have some standards. OTS was created for those sh-- teams that just piled inventory/ display fixtures into there back rooms and forgot about it and those stores are also the ones responsible for the steady decline Whole Foods had forcing a sale. Get some standards and accountability and stop crying or go work for Walmart...they like it sh--ty.

Im happy i was laid off as a sga. I make nearly twice what i did at WFM now. My benefits were day1...and afforable w/o high deductibles. Totally different industry that only stands to grow. I was hired for my work ethic and skillsets. While i dont do graphic arts as a day job anymore (i still have my side gigs plus selling my own artwork too), i can still bust out an on-the-fly badass flyer fr a last min sale in WORD alone.

If youre hardworking and adaptable. Open to knew ventures and say eff it. And get on a horse of a different color and ride...damn, it can be good.

I see so many ppl on here b--ch bc theyre afraid of change. You keep picking at scabs and wnder why it never heals or why the scar is so horrendous people think youre a troll. What you knew is gone. Get flexible or get out.

OTS. Underneath it all, it's about hyper-accountability. What better way to get rid of long serving (highly paid) team members than pop quiz OTS walks? In a few short years, long serving team members went from being seen as an asset to the company to being seen as a liability. Used to be if you came to work on time, took care of our customers and did your job well, you were recognized and rewarded over the years. Look around now, how many experienced, high performing people have moved on, pushed out, disappeared? It's a different business model then it used to be- we are a top-down, churn and burn company nowadays. Maybe it will turn around in a couple years, after the growing pains pass, and achieve some semblance of balance.

No dates mean “surprise “ walks maybe. Easy way to justifiably move people out the door and not pay severance or unemployment.

Bruh, just pour yourself some hot sauce on it. I'm gonna suggest a scotch bonnett based one or maybe even ghost pepper. But hey if you're more into the Carolina reaper based ones I get it. It's merely my opinion on the subject at hand here.
