Thread regarding Intel Corp. layoffs

Does Intel have a Fab capacity issue?

I'm looking at Amazon CPU top sales and Ryzen are wiping the floor with them. Could it be that Intel are reducing cpu manufacturing to pump out low grossing modems for Apple?

What a mess, without 10nm now two years late 14nm capacity is pressed as it was never planned to still be doing so much CPUs.

Than you got AMD ramping on 7nm soon, fun times indeed, share loss and pricing pressure are a certainty.

No capacity issue. Fabs are empty, which is worse.

Funny, anyone at Intel would not ask this question. Yes, Intel Feb has issues, lots of them, but not capacity issue.

OP can't afford to buy bubble gum on Amazon let alone a CPU.

OP, don't worry about low grossing modems for apple.

They are actually heat sinks not modems. Iphones with 7560 modems will be used as a hand warmer in cold weather. Say goodbye to battery life and outdoors usability.
