Thread regarding Chevron Corp. layoffs

Tunnel collapse

How is it that PRC can not manage the Harvey tunnel repair MCP without massive delays and huge cost overruns? I went underground for a troglodytic lunch today and was shocked and appalled to find the Chevron tunnels still under repair from Harvey a couple years ago. WTF? How many managers and DRB spiders does it take to slap some new sheet rock on the walls? This is a symptom of our huge disfunction. A canary in the tunnel. Enjoy your square Wendy’s hamburger.

I hoe those workers saved everything to a thumb drive so they can continue to work from home. Oh wait... never mind.

The tunnels are in worse shape than ever and now those id--ts from PRC cut the internet wire to HOU140 and sent 3000 employees home early. I've never seen such idiocy.

13 months after Harvey and with a new hurricane season boiling, PRC seems stumped by the tunnels. Employees going to lunch staggger through a cloud of toxic concrete dust. It is no wonder Gorgon made all those horrible grinding and clattering noises when they turned on train one. We need Nigel in Houston!

Why middle eastern, mo--nnnn? There is nothing in my speech on Islam or Middle East . I might be Indian or Latinos or Asian ... Your genetically modified brain is trying to think very narrow, just along several lines, specified by your spiritual masters. "USA" and "great" britain and all bloody "west"are heavily fucttttd anyway, socalled "USA" will be divided very soon

You missed the point all together, kbrz. That’s one reason you don’t work for Chevron anymore. You’re comprehension and reasoning skills are lacking.

From fast food to franchise restaurants, Tex-Mex is widely preferred. There are more of these kind of eateries across the country than Cajun. Just for a short list are; Taco Bell, Chi-Chi’s, Cuco’s... Keep it real, buddy.

Really @imhd, Everyone knows there’s more Tex-Mex restaurants and eateries than you shake a stick at across all 50 states. That speaks volumes over people’s preference for Tex-Mex over Cajun.

It’s an acquired taste, hejm. In no time you’ll adjust and claim it’s the best Tex-Mex around. Many people complain like you about Cajun cuisine.

Not that it matters, but it is CBRES not PRC that is in charge of that.

No surprise here, when it takes 3-4 months to fix an escalator or install new access entry points.

Harvey was one year ago, but your point still stands. Probably waiting on the bidders to fill out their CHESM questionnaires.

Oh sure we could rock up the walls in just a few days, but first we are waiting for the committee assessment about how we “fell” about the underground, then the genX sun lovers group wants more set aside space, and then ....
