Heard today that some roles might be eliminated soon, but no details were given. Anybody knows if this is true?

If your GM says focus is on membership does he mean restructuring it as in it is going away or we have to focus on our goals?

Once notified job eliminated and worked two months, how long does it take to receive your severance check?
I know that membership will be changing, but once layed off will I still receive the same perks as before as a plus member? I don’t see the money I have accumulated anymore like in the pass. Has that been stopped without any notification to the members?

Will Cobra pay off my bills previously acquired on LTD before my layoff and will I still be able to see the same doctors as before my layoff? Sorry for so many questions.
Yes you would have the option to pick up cobra. Cobra would just be your insurance you have now continued without the company paying the 2/3’s they pay now. So you will be unemployed and paying 3x higher insurance payments.
After the position is eliminated and the (60) days extended have ended, someone on LTD which ended, can continue with cobra to get their medical bills paid that had been accumulated when United Health stopped. Is this correct?
If you are on LTD or anything, it doesn't matter. Everyone gets the same option. 60 days to find another position in the club or take severance. If your store closes, everyone still has the same options. Some places got 60 days while others got 90 days - to find another job at a Walmart or Sam's near by or take severance. They don't care if you just got a heart transplant or anything. You can't get out and try to find another position in another store? Oh well... You're SOL. After the 60 (or 90) days then your insurance ends.
What happens to the insurance pymts you are receiving and the 𝘔𝘦𝘥𝘪𝘤𝘢𝘭 coverage? Is it stopped after two months as if you were at work?
Membership won't go away at corporate level just at club level. It will be run by HO.
Membership/marketing dept is really no longer needed in the clubs with all the online offers, mailers and perkspot.

I'm a long term associate I see that Membership has slow down alot in sales .

Unfortunately Ltd does not protect you from job eliminations. If your job is eliminated then you will be given the package as everyone else.
I have a question. I’m on LTD and am wondering what will happen if they eliminate my position while I’m still on LTD??
Who told you that some roles might be eliminated Gm Assistant Manager ??? Another associate Why didn't you inquire more???

If they do get rid of a position I would suppose they would be told no later than end of Oct first of Nov so they dont have to give bonus and you won't be their for the new year which is Feb Sam's time.
If I was to guess PTC (or) and Clerk these are the positions that their job have been condensed. I would imagine Photo and Jewelry will be eliminated as clubs are remodeled.
The hours will never be moved to the floor or front end. They just disappear. Magic!
