All new VPSMS in Sonoma and Marin. That can’t be good.
Yes, I was one of them from Union Square, and so happy I will not have to worry about my job being eliminated or my hours reduced.
Saw a mass retiring of support associates in Union Square. They are the lucky ones. VPSMS look more haggard than usual.
It is looking like anyone, and I mean ANYONE in a support position will be restructured. MTM, VSPM, IT, or MST, Regional positions. You folks need to look put for yourselves, as the path to growth more than likely will not include you.

it is a vague question, but it piqued my interest as in another thread pertaining to the Reno meeting there was mention made of further restructuring, and the elimination of the Vice President/Store Manager title to be replaced with General Manager or GM. We’re entering the particularly critical time when announcements are made, and I look to this site for hints of future changes.
GM, typically would be General Manager, but Macy’s has NO GM’s!!
They have VP/SMS, Vice President/Store Managers! To the person asking this initial stupid question, be more specific and you might get an answer (and get your acronyms right you fool)
