Lately all the private label vitamins have been empty...for months...the ones that have started coming in all have a little neck ring that says "New Pill Color". Have noticed that on p/l aspirin and all the outs on digestive health that have come in. Did they switch manufacturers? Why would they do it for everything at one time? When will it be fixed?

"Sometimes miss out"??????? how about more times than not. In large volume stores there is no backup plan when p/l products cease production and are out of stock for months on end (until the next planogram). And we are penalized for ordering namebrand products from our rx distributor.
Private label products are made by the cheapest available copackers. We source new manufacturers of pills depending on availability and cost. All retailers are shopping the same manufacturers for this stuff so sometimes we miss out on things during production runs.
The new color is when the mfr deemed it a second. These come at a huge discount.
