We no longer get any (meaningful) gainsharing, stock options disappeared and were never discussed (but ASTLs and above still get Amazon stock), responsibilities have increased dramatically with the elimination of some people and concentration of their duties on existing team members, Core values stopped existing in 2016, and lastly raises are cut to pennies on the dollar to what they once were.
Incentives to staying with WFM are minimal, turnover is high, people don't want to start a union but are concerned they do not have a choice. I don't want a union, had family in them and it was hit or miss at best.
I would like to work for a company that is more realistic with it's expectations (OTS rules of getting all tags and sales change over perfectly done between 10-7am with no extra labor), recognizes and rewards hard work, and reduces this ever present feeling of us (team members) vs them (store leadership and above) in every day interactions.
By the way the reason those morale surveys only had 60% response rate is because we don't believe they are anonymous and don't believe anyone actually cares what's in them beyond using it as a tool to punish ATLs or TLs (who are either hard working/overworked or c-appy).
I know of at least half a dozen experienced 5+ year TMs and above who are actively applying elsewhere, kudos to them for seeing the writing on the wall but it's heartbreaking that a good thing was destroyed.
