Can anyone shed some light on when the remaining wireless call centers are going to close? I believe there are 7 left. Rolling Meadows, Alpharetta, Charlotte, Murfreesboro, Tampa and not sure of the the other two left. Wilmington? Charleston? Any information on when these remaining centers will close will be very helpful. Thank you

North Haverbrook, Brockway and Ogdenville, considerably less certain unfortunately.
Wilmington will get blow away by Hurricane Florence then VZW will choose to be released from lease. HBA or transfers. Attrition. Simple VZW solution.

You mean BGCO centers? There’s only so much space they can accommodate, and you have to wonder if Business and Government wireless accounts are truly contractually obligated to have support provided from an in-house call center?
Maybe start think about going to a wireless call centers... Utah, Alpharetta or the one in Maryland. No rumors of those closing.
Doubtful within 6 months. They are doing it slow and methodically. The process has at least 2-3 years left till completion. The only certainty is that there will continue to be less and less centers as time progresses.
Praying it will be more like 6 months when tjey close the centers not 2/3 years.

It doesn't matter when, the timing mindset is a trap. Watch what they do, understand what's next.
Example: Testing of the Home Bored Atrophying reps (HBA) process started with no AFNI (outsource) many years ago. Five plus years of HBA data shows that reps, severed from peers and social groups, self-promote to customer - 30% year one, 50% year two. Look left, look right, for every 100 of you and yours, thirty-five survive. Meaning that for every 100 of you, sixty-five lost out on their payout.
No negative PR for Verizon as lonely HBA reps drift off the employment rolls nationwide, in a nice statistical spread - no repurcussions - just numbers. The additional benefit of HBA is work-at-home reps cannot unionize, minimum shop numbers don't apply. The one saving grace every union shill on the board trumpets - gone.
User stories to build the tools that replace you with Jamaica, Phillipines, and India support (chat, online, phone) are being written and groomed every day. If I had to prognosticate, I'd say the fiscal focus is three years out: Internal customer service quality drops so far that the displaced, scared and alone that remain, cowering in the saftey of spare bedrooms turned offices nationwide...lose out anyway because partners are cheaper. Stores are gone replaced by fulfillment locations that dispense SIM cards and redirect to self-service automated or abroad.
Let the puppeteers execute their exit strategies as they carve you to the quick. Take your payout and move on, don't give up any more of your life to a company that's lost itself. Allow integrity truly be the core of who you are. Remember the times you were proud of who you worked for and with.
There are 9 centers left.. there is El Paso and chandler. No official dates on when they are all closing...
Eventually they will all be gone. I am told over the next 2-3 years. There will be some smaller regional centers on the wireline side kept open due to labor agreements but other than that nothing. One should expect a methodical slow shrinkage of this sector of the company.
