Yes, San Antonio is a test market area. If it will be for cutting PTC? We shall see... But I don't think they will cut ptc in test areas. When they do it it'll all be at once company wide

I heard down here in San Antonio that next year they are doing away with the cashiers and are going to all self checkouts. This was told by one of the assistant managers. Also starting Monday we no longer have a personnel person. Team leads and managers are going to be doing her job now.

Send your union person to Texas Clubs please. Anyone on here that downs a union is probably one of the priCk managers thats causing people to want to unionize. I for one am tired of all the bs this company has turned to.

I'm not sure how last minute they can change your schedule now, but I do know that you have to agree to it and sign. We have a binder in the office that has any changes, the date and time and a signature from the manager and associate.

They should not change the schedule once it posts Saturday, unless you agree to it.

FCO

I’m not going to be vicious. I most certainly do work for Sam’s. Our Club is being solicited by the UFCW. I have been a Union Member previously and happen to believe strongly that a Contract keeps All parties honest. Perfect? Hell No! But it beats the bull sh-- we deal with each and every day. No matte who you think you are, how much of a key player you are, you’re nothing more than a WIN number you dumb a--! Soon enough they will prove that to you!

Union Yes!!!

And by the way , go F--- Yourself!

True story. I was once asked (the night before) to come in at 9 instead of 11 one day. Got there at 9 had to override to clock in. Then the store manager told me I was supposed to be in even earlier and showed me the schedule that said 8. I don’t know how she managed that since the time clock still said I was supposed to be there at 11 and I had to over ride. There were many times my schedule changed less than 24 hours out and I only knew when I checked every morning. The GM liked over ride and change the schedules last minute. I knew a lot of the partimers without computers would print their schedule and then it was changed when they were off. It was a mess. That GM is now at another store

Your "union" plug not needed. A question was asked and you clearly don't work for Walmart or Sam's so you don't know the answer. I would double check with HR but I thought there was a 72 hour courtesy notice but that may have changed. Schedule changes can not occur within 24 hours or less even with hourly associate approval.

It’s direspectful and completely unfair. A Union establishes a set of rules everyone must follow. No changing the rules of the game in the 9 th inning as is the case today.

It can be changed whenever they want to. As long as its posted above the time clock they are covered. You can no longer make plans unless you request it and then you take the chance of getting more days off then requested. Associates are quiting left and right maybe that is their intention. Pissing people off. Me i say bring it on a--holes you know its wrong its just a power game because they can they will. Carmas a b--ch they will get theirs.

They used to give notice but then they started changing schedules willy nilly and last minute. Now when they change a lot of schedules they put a note near the time clock telling people to check schedules, all good except for the people who off and don’t know to check or don’t have a way to check from home....
