Slack is an app owned by Amazon. STL’s have been going around to all the teams telling them to not use slack and uninstall it from the computer BUT they are not telling SSS’s this! They want the SSS group to use the app so they can track what you are saying and use it against you to fire you! Amazon can and WILL find you if you use the app to talk about unionizing and will get you in trouble! Use Slack to talk about work and only work.

Amazon doesn’t own slack. They’ve been rumored to be interested in forever but haven’t purchased them
I can imagine the "whole worker" email that has been circulating is also some entrapment tactic. No thanks!
Many WFM teams use slack at work as a legit work tool. Everything you do on a work computer is tracked regardless. Fireye is on all computers. Amazon owns most of the servers that all businesses use.
