Thread regarding Sears layoffs

Guess Sears Hometown And Outlet Is Actually Profitable?!

Guess at least their spin-off company seems to be doing well this past quarter (Q2).

I had to do a double take to think that wait, SEARS IS MAKING MONEY?! Oh never mind, this has no real relation with Sears anymore so whatever good fortune they have has NOTHING to do with Sears proper. Lol.

Isn't it "funny" that once something is detached from Sears it seems to be more successful?! Hmmmm, weird!

SHOS is not profitable. They lost 40 cents a share. They just spun it is as we are failing at a slower rate.

Profitability is when you make money not lose 9 million. Losing less is not a biz plan

They lost over $9 million in the second quarter. That's not horrible but it's not profitable.

• Loss per share decreased $0.89 to $0.41 loss per share from $1.30 loss per share
