A few of the posters are confusing Bahrain for the UAE. Bahrain is so weak in oil that Saudi has to give them 300,000 bpd for free. Qatar is big in gas. Bahrain lives on weekend tourism. And as far as the spelling goes, it is all phonetic so there is no such thing as the right spelling.

Bahrain is huge in oil and gas-based but it is also a well-established regional center of finance... I'd say that if you want to play the game in the gulf, you ought to have some meaningful presence there...
