The Q3 financial results release has been scheduled

Just in case somebody doesn’t know this already, the Q3 financial results release and investor conference call will take place on Friday October 19. That should clear some things up for us, that’s for sure.

@7kmg the current stock price already considers the effect of the spinoffs and there won't be any additional benefit. Wall Street has known about the spinoffs since they were announced so that's included in price and in their expectations.

Short term good, long term bad

HON manages to WS expectations, and the stock will do well in Q3. I wouldn't buy it at its current price but hold what you have. Since HON continues to close sites, that will help prop it up but there are no more specials (as I hear they are called) from the accountants to make the numbers look better than they are. Sell in 2019 before the train pulls into the station.

Why sell. If financials are in line with Wall Street expectations and the upcoming spinoffs. It feels like a buy. I would be interested in what people think the net effect of the spinoffs will be on the HON stock fund in the 401k.
