Why should they be embarrassed, they are hitting the numbers they promised Wall St. Remember the story being told Wall street is not the reality we live in. At some point the curtain will be pulled back, but by then a new set of leaders will be ready to put on their show. so rather than complaining here just put that energy into doing something for your self. They mandate a 44 hour work week that's not needed because they think it will increase productivity. Or something stupid like that. The job market is strong, and HI wants engineers to work free OT for no reason, won't allow telecommuting, and then they can't understand why they have a retention problem? LMAO!!! They are nothing but a training grounds in Peurto Rico. Is stupidity a requirement to be in HI leadership?? The level of incompetence of this leadership could not be clearer. How are they not embarrassed?
They demand “overtime” even when 40 hours are NOT needed. 44 hours/week is expected no matter how busy you are.
First time I've heard the words overworked and engineers used together. Especially when they demand "overtime" when more than 40 hours are needed. They'll tell you all about how unfair and illegal it is as exempt professional emoloyees.
