Right, we are still classified as a "phone company" as much as they are trying to shed that tag, so Verizon is held to restrictions and rules that others aren't.
We have one big monopoly that the government isn’t dealing with......Alphabet and to a lesser degree Amazon which is becoming bigger each passing day, and also Facebook, Twitter who seems to be monopolizing the flow of information, Not seeing much effort there. Perhaps it would be easier to put the brakes on Verizon since some could argue it’s a “quasi” utility.
Until smaller companies cry that verizon has an advantage and our government which doesn't support monopolies, (well, maybe now they do) comes in and breaks us up......sound familiar? 1984
I don’t know much about Hans a few things are unsettling, however if he is positioning Verizon to be the leader in 5G and beyond this would be the best business model to pursue, if you can monopolize the network you will be in the drivers seat.
Hans specifically said on CNN that he was not interested in content but in the pipe...........I am sure he will unload as much as he can to fund his extremely expensive 5G agenda.

Kinda thinking the same thing. No good fundamentals supporting the business model. Wireless and Oath is the revenue stream. Smoke and mirrors.
