Tech Culture?

Most manager are not good I had 4 last year, LoL, Culture is really awful here for tech. Too much paper work/process required to get things moving in general. Everyone has specific roles/responsibility, so working with different teams could take forever to get things done. For example, like changing a small icon on UI page, it would take weeks to get done. You create a ticket to UI > Design > BA > DEV. You also work with outdated tech stack (Who still use ES5, JDK5, or J2EE?), it is way behind tech companies.

There is not much interesting problems to solve, since you can't do much unless you are a senior management. There are so many mediocre developers, or stackoverflow devs who only know copy/paste source code from stackoverflow. Code quality is pretty bad and the standard is pretty low.

If you are looking to get a job with easy pay and don't do much, this is a perfect company to work for. However, as a software engineer this would be a worst company to work for. Just go to a tech company, you will have more fun and work with interesting problems and a good tech stack,

These are all common stereotypes associated with their culture. They are not based on any factual evidence. But I can tell you from first hand experience that there is a very distinctive odor that exudes from Indian people. I'm not the first person to notice this!

Thank GOD they are gone,,but often leave a smell behind, what possible recourse do we have? The smell lingers on the walls, in the carpets, seats, and is extremely difficult to get rid of without months of effort. Can they write body odors into their employment agreement somehow?

Many people are leaving on their own, they don't see a path to success in this bank anymore, I know of cases that after these accomplished professionals gave their 2 week notice, they were out the door the same day.

Unless a manager trusts themselves enough to trust the people they hire, they will never be a leader. They will only be equipped to manage through fear, because they don't know how to build trust.

the company can fire you at anytime without repercussions, but if you quit your job without giving notice, they threaten legal action, we all know from past experience that the company will not honor your two-week notice anyway
