About 5 years ago Canada was rolled into the US to become a North American business unit. Now they are seperating Canada and the U.S. into two business units. Along with that comes some organization announcements.

Today’s announcements represent an important step as we focus on putting the right organization in place to deliver on our strategy and growth ambition. While I know it may seem unsettling to not have clarity on the full organization and teams today, you’ve got my commitment that we’re working diligently to provide you with further details and ensure we do what’s right to set our U.S. and Canadian businesses up for success.
As these changes won’t be in effect until January 1, 2019, my ask of you is to continue to focus on delivering Q4 to close out this year strong and set us up to deliver 2019.

Looks like we're still hiring full time reps and merchandisers. We'll still be here next year. 2020 is when we're done from what I've been hearing.

Health insurance enrollment for 2019 came in the mail today. Looks like DSD isn't going away anytime soon. Keep guessing lol!!

Where did you read they were holding a meeting to announce leadership changes? All i saw was they would announce some leadership changes since Canada is once again its own business unit. Thank god......

They are just moving leaderships roles around. Nothing to do with DSD at all. We will all still have our jobs a year from now and still talking about this c-ap on this site.....lol. There is nothing to say right now currently we are on our way out anytime soon.

Game over!! We're being outsourced!! What other announcement can be made at This point? All upper management are positioning into place. Plant is in Mexico. Nothing else to cut but DSD in the U.S.
Ohhhhhh, I think it's much more than telling us who's filling what roles. That's the most far fetched cover-up I've seen on here yet. Much more than that happening. Has anybody ever heard the term outsourcing?
They are announcing who will fill certain roles in the new org structure. Nothing to do with DSD. Quite honestly, if DSD does end in the U.S. it is years away.

I saw that also! November 1st announcement for U.S. and Canada. Then announcement on November 15th for the rest of the U.S. Wonder what that announcement will be?

Here is my suggestion. Just read down the list, you will see 10s of posts on this. Some people say yes, others say no. The rumor has been spreading in the office since 2014. The rumors are now spreading online as well, that's why so many posts here.
My suggestion, do not worry about it.
