I was on the call. Everything was positive. From what I've been told we won't be transitioning out of dsd for a while. Not sure if it's next year, but it's not this year.

They will have HR handle the announcements. It will be a regional conference call and they will read off a script! Anyone could do that. Read a prepared statement, they won’t take questions. Explain the process of the separation letter, timeline, etc..
I’m surprised Kroger would beat WM to warehouse? Humm!

Just my opinion. I can see minor adjustments in the workforce being handled by HR. But I would think something as significant as a DSD departure would be handled by top brass. If that's the direction we're going.
I bet the announcement will be made then. They can't hide it much longer. With Kroger going warehouse on July 15th, Mondelez will give us our 60 days notice at that time! Game over!!
That has not a thing to do with the phasing out of dsd! They would never announce the exit on a town hall meeting! Be realistic and quit trying to rationalize things!

No announcements are ever made on town hall calls. Layoff calls will occur from your regional HR department
You are not going to like your DM when truth comes out! DM will be a regional hub to feed Kroger distribution center they built in Hebron. Fact! We already have been assigned catalogue numbers. Of course dirk defends dsd, it would not be wise at this point to leak the truth. Need to keep people motivated, thus the smoke screen. Hope you don’t support a family, not thinking very responsibly. Feel kinda bad for them if you are that gullible! I on the hand am being a tad bit more responsible by peeling back the layers.

It's only going to get worse. Territories will be getting bigger with less reps in 2019. 1/3 of the reps will be laid off in April 2019. Walmart will take over our products in 2019. Kroger will be CAO everywhere in 2019. We will be phased out. By 2020 we will have a similar structure as the elves currently do. Happy New Year!! Get out while you can.

Team that is a joke. All sales reps do is merchandise with writing orders as after thought. I throw More cases on a daily bases then my full timer does. I have no issues with tossing cases but Its just gotten crazy lately. Who has time to write orders when we spend 90% of each day merchandising. They really need to look at the structure on how we do things in the field and change it up in 2019.

Really we are staying in DSD. Nothing has changed in the last 2 years with all these ur done next month posts. A year from now you will be saying same c-ap while we are still working business as usual.
The next Earnings report is supposed to be on January 30, 2019 . This means that the Town Hall meeting is not about the earnings report. So YES it probably is Doom and Gloom. I am guessing that the calls about layoffs will be earlier in the month. We only get a few hours notice about layoffs
