It's a thousand points per dollar. $400 (400,000 points) back as $100 (100,000 points) per month.

What is the chance of a lawsuit against Eddie or the BOD or any higher up in the company for fraud? If they knowingly advertised the points back and knowingly gave the points in installments over a period of time while knowing the financial mess the company was in and the chance of BK.

Seems like a cash grab and the ultimate bait and switch. Spend lots of money on high end appliances and other items with lots of points back. But then surprise, those 400 points back you were expecting at 100 points per month are now worthless and you spent none of them.

I would not let points be a lure for anything. They are easily dismissed by the bankruptcy court. They can hand out 1 billion points, and as long as they are far enough out, the company won't be on the hook for anything.
