People who are afraid their store is about to close (even those who are not) should apply for a new job at Whole Foods if there is one anywhere close. They were bought by Amazon and were a part of that whole $15 minimal pay change. That would be an immediate raise for so many people working here...

People who are afraid their store will close should have been applying for new positions a long time ago...
What a nice response. I left shc 2 years ago after working there for 42 years. I was making good money was full time so it was hard to leave. I found a job making a lot more money, way better benefits and best of all a stress free life! I can tell you there's life after shc!!
And if there isn’t a Whole Foods in your area or its not hiring, there are plenty of retailers looking for people especially this time of year. Please consider seasonal work, most retailers are buying $15 an hour now and you’re guaranteed work through the holiday. You might be able to parlay a temp job to permanent or at least buy yourself some time until you find the next opportunity. Getting out of a negative environment will give you a new perspective and attitude, making it easier to see your potential and opportunities.
