I've heard some people are getting out of cycle focal raises up to 7% to bump them a little more towards the median of the pay scale for their job grade if they are grossly underpaid compared to market. May or may not just be an Oregon thing. The thought is that poaching is the motivator.

Ampere already took anyone with a shred of talent from JF4. Anyone who got a raise was dead weight to begin with.

Not sure about OR but SC has had two back to back double digit bumps for EE and above .....
