Top talent has fled PTD for other opportunities. Only his "Yes Men" and poisonous politics are left behind as legacy. No hope for this sinking ship.

So how is the first week going?

So all his yes henchmen know what to do, no amount of bailing by them nor the thousands of PhDs in Hillsboro is likely going to fix the Titanic.

Need completed house cleaning and culture reset. This will indeed be a case study of BoD, CEO and MCM failure.

Singlehandedly destroyed PTD and blew 4 year process technology lead. Finally ran out of town by top management who saw no hope with him in charge. Flunkies in key positions now. Good luck PTD and Intel. SLOW TITANIC !!!

SA’s famous quote “ I may not be the smartest guy around but one thing I can say for sure, no one can beat me in the number of hours I work”. That was exactly the issue - he worked like a dog no doubt, trying to scale his single point of decision making (and failure) by starting work at 6 am and scheduling meetings starting 6:30am with his order takers and ending the night with meetings as late as 8 pm. A control freak who had to approve every small decision and wasting his time. His time would have been better spent thinking through execution strategy as opposed to being obsessed with execution control and managing the details. He saw each tree and missed seeing the forest and he is right, he is for sure not the smartest guy around, not by a long shot.

Serves him right. What goes around comes around. He destroyed many peope who had a different point of view. Only the yes men survive under him. Issue is that he surrounded himself with such “yes men “ VP’s (order takers). The bet was he was always making the right calls and look what happened. Anyone who spoke up or had independent thinking was viewed by SA as not being loyal and quickly fell into his S$&t list. He then focused on destroying them. What an A*hole. The only skill he had was to squeeze more of the same, he seriously lacks the smarts to define strategies and figure ways to work smarter not slave drive his way to success. Some of them tried to put sense into him but he simply won’t listen. He loves to hear himself talk and give sermons for an hour or longer on need for execution focus. The mo--ns who report to him just listen and s--- it up. Very sad indeed. An expensive price they paid for keeping this guy around for as long as they did.

Downside - It is AK's single handed rule in TD now. How is that going to be.

Sadly, when you “retire” you do receive your bonus and 401k contributions, prorated. I mean, that’s great if you really are retiring.

Don't worry, it's an easy fix. No more free fruit = problem solved. This was a promise made that was disastrous!

Should have been kicked out without a package at least 5 years ago

About 3-4 years over due. He completely blew Intel’s process technology lead! Who else is next and who is stepping in?
