Just read this article. It appears that the management lost their patience regarding the delays in delivery of 10 nm chips, and decided to split the manufacturing group into three separate segments. Just hope it doesn’t start a wave of restructuring at Hillsboro.

I am not from Intel. Why don't you guys poach someone from TSMC or Samsung? It is obviously the new nodes are getting very hard. Global Foundry gave up too. It looks like TSMC and Samsung are the only two who can do it so far?
Now all those SA promoted gutless yes men all in senior positions will now stand up and do the right thing after a decade dancing to SA.
