Sears India MD gave clarity on severance/Compensation.
Its based on Notice period & Experience in Sears
Example:My notice period is 1 month & i have 1 years of experience in sears,so my severance will be [1 month salary(1 month notice period) + 15 days salary(1 years of sears experience add 15 days salary)]

Who cares about SHI. You’re nothing but cheap labor that doesn’t have a clue.
Its better to wait for the severance payout. Its a win win situation for the associate.
MD telling severence policy in town hall is straight forward sign that there are going to be layoffs in SHI very soon.

@jrz - It's possible he could be telling the truth. The laws in India dealing with these matters could be very different from those in the USA.
