If you do not like working here LEAVE. Oh that’s right You are a sorry no good for nothing person who wouldn’t make it in the real world with another company. Quit worrying about why companies are changing, if you think it’s better at another company then go. But I can assure you it’s not any better woth any other large company. All companies who are publicly traded have a bunch of red tape and BS that the associates and managers and executives have to work through every day. I think about finding another job quite often, however when I look at some of the benefits that I do have the Galloway some of the other companies and what they are offering. I know it’s not perfect and we seem to make changes every year and it shakes everything up. One day I’ll be at a point where I can sail off into the sunset and leave this company. But until then it’s not worth wasting another single breath over what they’re doing and why they’re doing it. Watch the news every company is doing this stuff summer doing it even worse than we are.

Everyone says Costco and Chick Fil A are so much better. Don’t sell Costco’s gold membership for 3 consecutive days and see how much better they are when they write you up for job performance. Don’t say my pleasure to a guest at Chick-fil-A and see if you should put on the schedule for next week. Be able to miss more than 7 workdays with or without a doctors note in an entire year for most major companies and see if you’re still employed. We have it so much better than most other companies but yet all we do is worry about what we don’t have anymore. All companies have opportunities and the grass is not always greener on the other side.
I hope y’all can find peace, but just know that as long as the companies are owned by stockholders the stuff we have to do and put up with will never be as we want it to be.
