It is obvious there are a number of things wrong in the past year. Many Associates watched their Club Close. Some 63 , there are more coming. Lots of people who served this Company , Managers and Associates had lives disrupted, stressed over their future, how they will care for themselves,
their families. The complete capricious nature of how this was done: Forced Rankings, set ups for poor Evals , nothing less than a contrived process. This process allowed Market Managers and others to
institutionalized Ageism, Racism, S-xism and Favoritism as a working part of systemic elimination of experienced Managers and Associates. Hopefully many found homes, surely many struggle still . Since it’s clear that many were targeted . Some were saved by their relationships to Market Managers
again systemic elimination for others without documentation or cause. With no opportunity to defend or prepare options in advance. Literally right after Christmas. It was the worse thing I’ve ever experienced.
I feel for many who suffer still . The people who did this need to live with that. I will leave that in Gods hands. I am only glad I do not any longer need to worry about Days off, who will target our Club, have the type of job insecurity I know all of you suffer. This Company allowed immoral unethical people to hurt the Company, and it’s most valued resource , it’s talent and experienced Associates who were treated very poorly. It has hurt the reputation of the parent Co and Sam’s forever. That credibility once gone is lost forever. As you gear up for the Holiday , we did just that last year, fearing the usual bloodletting come January. Take stock of yourselves and your families. If you can move on to a Company that will appreciate you , consider it strongly before it’s too late.
