Thread regarding Sam's Club layoffs

My GM thinks these sites are the cause of low moral...

Can you believe that? Talk about living in your own precious world. I overheard the conversation and it just blows my mind how some management still is so gaga over Sam's. If you try to talk to her about the changes, she acts like hard work will keep you safe. Not allowed to say anything negative or else you get in trouble for bringing down the moral. Nobody better talk about this site. That's gossiping and against policy. Meanwhile her main focuses are on herself. Is my hair fixed right? How's my makeup? Is it oily? I need to go blot with my wipes. How's this outfit? If it's not good enough I'll go buy something else right now. And she will go buy something else. It is ridiculous!!! AND she came from a club that got closed down in January. Only reason she was saved is because she originally worked at the club with the market managers, and she royally kisses their behind! Wherever she goes, she has to have other managers follow her. She brags about herself and other managers jumping on registers when needed. She sure does while she has 2 other managers w her. One will unload the cart while the other puts it back. Why not put one person on each line? And she thinks this site is the problem? Lady, you got a whole slew of issues and this site is not one of them. Now go outside and puff on another c-gare--e while smiling at the workers you talk about behind their backs.

@1udt I had a GM like that. He refused to speak to anyone below lead. Only smiled and said hi when market team was visiting. If he had to talk to you, he let you know he was coming down x amount of levels to speak to your puny self. How do these a$$ wipes get through to become club manager? Mine finally got so many complaints of him being a wad and stepped down. But he stepped down to fresh manager at another store.

Sam's does not know how to hire professionals anymore. Probably because it's slim pickings. Nobody in their right mind would try for a GM spot these days. Just another part of the crumbling from the inside.

We had middle management like that, several years ago. Nasty queen bee who thought she was better than us lowly cashiers. She refused to speak to anyone below a team lead. Literally refused even to acknowledge hellos. Made me happy the day her middle management kaboose was fired. That was the day, way back, when all middle management was let go.

No this person did not spell it right, but honestly... Who cares? None of us do. I haven't met a single GM who really deserves to be where they are. Entire place is filled with people who don't strive to do better for themselves and their families. Come on January! Let's see which are the next to fall!

Hey @wth this person spelled it right mo--n.

Now back to the topic, sounds like insecurities out the bum with that one! Those type can't even keep themselves together. Couldn't imagine a whole club. No surprise the other store was closed down.
