Does anybody what date can we expect the next course of action. I just hope they now lay it to rest finally.

Shop Your Way is a really bad name, Shopping should be fun and SYR is complicated and frustratiing.

Our store is closing. I spoke to a representative of Seritage and he said that technically there are no safe stores. All stores are under review. They are doing the store reviews in stages. The first stage was the closings. Also, some of the stores in both the review and safe lists are in the process of being sold. He wouldn't say which ones because of confidentiality. Of course the bankruptcy judge would have to approve the sales.
Even if Eddie did manage to scoop up 300 stores and close the rest and rebrand it, who in the hell would shop them? Remember, he has hundreds of thousands of ex associates and their families who r not going to forget what happened!
If you look at the Sears Canada case within 3 months of filing BK they went for liquidation. But US maybe different. Around Nov/Dec there should be some clarity in direction. Wish I could read Ed's mind.

I thought there were 211 under review?
People want clarity, unfortunately there is none. BK is so unpredictable and moves so fast. Sorry, but this is a classic case of it will happen when it will happen. Personally I do think we will see chapter 7 within a few weeks as Eddie realizes there is no point to him providing another 300 million in financing. They are burning cash so fast they just have no room to move. Sorry.
Just a guess but I think there will be another announcement 11/15/18 about the 250 stores under review
