A lot of people here seem to believe we will know what's going this week, either a day or two before third quarter earnings are reported or immediately after.
I'm just wondering if this is usually the case? Are layoffs announced right before or after earnings calls or is this just people guessing blindly?

Who cares? This place is about as worthless as it gets. Stick around if you want to have to constantly walk on egg shells the next several years. No one is forcing us to stay. The fact that this is happening should not be a big shock. Start applying elsewhere and find something on par or better. The grass isn't always greener on the other side but it's becoming more tiring putting up with the incompetent senior staff in charge of place. Just my opinion. Best of luck everyone!
