life insurance

i just read, didn't see it earlier. You will be dropped from life insurance (unless retirement eligible). This i am assuming will probably deter the older workers, as tryng to get life insurance outside is a PIA. i am assuming most have some sort of outside insurance anyway, but thought i bring it up since i though it was included in the package.

"Imagine your surprise then when dental/medical/vision benefits are continued for the up-to-60 week period! I think OPs point was that supplementary life insurance isn't part of that package."

No surprise there, however, I do not use the health benefits offered through the company. Anyone who is trying to look out for their family should already have an alternate form of life insurance lined up.

All active employee are ended when you leave. They pay for medical and dental up to 60 months which you could get through cobra. After your benefits run it you can continue cobra till the cobra limit which started its clock the day you left.
