Yes, they are and the truth is so sad that it's staring you in the face. Former CHC employee now working at a MCK limited client. First your ridiculous People Connection is "offshore" (a CHC/MCK euphemism for cheap, third world country) who has no real access to personnel files. Everything they do is simply an email if it's beyond USA hours or IM if someone is still at a US office that can complete the task (I actually had to stop typing because I laughed so hard tears were rolling down my cheeks). IT is so badly backed up with purging tickets that they can't be bothered to purge profiles. Great for CHC; s**ks for you. Unless you are rehired within a certain length of time, you are considered a new employee and do not have benefits or longevity rights. Further, CHC knows what you've been paid throughout your tenure and knows that if they short pay you on your rehire, there's nothing to stop them from continually churning your employment. In case you are wondering, yes I'm former HR (not at CHC) and glad I'm gone.
I heard that those who were RIFed were advised to reapply for jobs?!! If so, it seems kind of heartless to RIF people then tell them to apply for openings or is this standard practice?
This affected all provider-focused products as the Strategic Sales team covers all of them. I'm one who was hit with the RIF. Sad to see how the Emdeon way has become the new normal for this combined organization.
I feel bad for the customers I know and who have known good service from legacy Relay or years and now many of whom I think will be getting little to no customer service.
