Hurry up already and give us our fate. We are all prepared and ready! Not sure about the rest of you but I am tired of cleaning up the mess that workday has made! No training for the ptc’s but they sure expect us to be the ones to fix the messes it’s creating. Let the managers start dealing with it now, because the issues are going to be happening long after we are gone!

I’m pretty sure ptc’s are one of the more professional ones left in the building. We know it’s coming, we just want them to get it over with. It’s insulting the way they are handling it. I’m not being negative and I don’t think anyone else was either. Just want this to be over with already.
The company is going through restructure to keep Sams open. There are always casualties when this happens in a company. Don’t be a part of negative gossip. No one knows when anything happens until right before it happens so don’t listen to neg. comments. If PTC’s are layed off, your background with Sams will give you an excellent resume. Be professional.
Why did they eliminate the PTC’s in just one market? How long till they let everyone go?

I’m a PTC for 11+ years. Been with the company over 25 years. I can see the writing the wall that our positions are going to be eliminated too. It’s so nice to see that the company is more willing to pay to outsource our jobs instead of caring for the current associates. Respect for the individual. HA
Sam Walton would not be happy at all the way things are happening. Workday is a nightmare. Loa process s---s. Takes longer to orientate new hires. I thought we were supposed to be important to the company. I can see now we are just another dollar sign. It’s a shame. I just wish they would let us know when it’s going to happen. I still feel so bad for the areas we lost before. Audits are definitely not being done correctly. The cash machine. Ha. We are really teaching our next genation how not to count money. Yeah it’s quicker but I still remember doing it all by hand years ago. Now Receiving and claims. Well I guess we will see how well this goes. Workday and now this right at the busiest time of the year. Nice.
To the ptc who was eliminated...can you please give details on what you were told
The Ptc in our club will be missed sorely. In more than 20 years I have never heard a single bad thing about them. Our person never was known as a gossip or for speaking badly to people. Certainly our club is on the losing end on this one....
I’m a PTC and nothing was said to me that my position is eliminated yet. Trust me I know it’s coming, the writing is definitely on the wall

To the PTC that was eliminated- were you offered severance?
From my understanding all clubs. 45 day to find a internal position.

I’m a PTC and I was eliminated today.
Same in Optical !!! Stop with the slow death of the 20/20 program, cutting our prices to bare bottom then complaining about sales. The need to put Licensed Opticians back in HO and clean out corporate or close us already. Trust me we are all applying for other jobs.
To all the PTCs as a group. I was a GM once upon a time. Thank you for all the PTCs have contributed to the Clubs I was fortunate enough to run. I appreciated all of you!
