Do we know anything? Any chance we are safe until after the holidays?

Other than change of Management the
message has remained the same.
Revenue and customer base (mif)
continues to decline ...There will be on-going
restructuring cuts to improve efficiency
and eliminate waste. In other words more
layoffs and outsourcing ...
It sounds like this Thursday is going to be another day of layoffs. Here we go again...
I just heard that this Thursday is another day of layoffs. Yippee!!
Count on reductions continuously to US based non sales positions. They will be off-shored to less costly and as we all know less productive workers who will have to pick up all of the work that stayed in the US because they couldn’t handle it. This will be continuous - not just one month. Layoffs are done quietly so they are happening without much chatter.
I love it when ppl ask me if I know anything. Best double entendre ever
Rumor has it that there will be another round of layoffs before the year end.
If the last few years is indicative, hundreds will lose their job the week of Thanksgiving and the week of Christmas. I’ve seen too many good people go during these weeks that it makes me vomit in my mouth. My advice is save as much money as you can and brush up the resume.
Typically layoffs will occur in December so that they can start the new year fresh so I would anticipate layoffs continuing at least through year-end. At this point you should be pulling together your resume (if you don’t already have one) and preparing yourself financially to lose your job. If you don’t lose it, that’s a plus. It’s up to you whether or not you want to start actively looking for a new job but no matter who you are, you would be best off not to consider yourself “safe”.
It's been quiet the last couple weeks. I wonder if they are waiting to do anything else until the Fuji thing is settled and/or a new engine partner is found.
