Thread regarding Sam's Club layoffs

This req is a closed req only available to the current associates who’s positions were eliminated that were deemed eligible. There will be additional req opened if positions are not filled that will be open for others to apply then.

Was told former receiving/claims associates can NOT apply for the back room position! Anyone hear anything different?

Yep , taking my money and running for the hills . Mr Walton has done me good working for the 30 years of service. With the stock splitting accouple of times in the early days , my profit sharing , Im able to retire at 56. It was a good Company to work for at one time. Not anymore. If you have the choice to stay or go , get out.

Most of our "qualified " associates aren't going to stick around for this sh.. show. They want those long term associates gone. Get out while you can at least get a buyout.

Actually it is...click on the receiving office position and it’ll show up there. (Assuming you are in the qualified group of associates).

Back room associate isn't listed on career preference. How do you apply?

At least claims associates & dock associates get a raise going from level B to level C. Invoice and Team Lead do not get increase since already C.

Going to be rough doing more with less!!!
