Typically layoffs will occur in December so that they can start the new year fresh so I would anticipate layoffs continuing at least through year-end. At this point you should be pulling together your resume (if you don’t already have one) and preparing yourself financially to lose your job. If you don’t lose it, that’s a plus. It’s up to you whether or not you want to start actively looking for a new job but no matter who you are, you would be best off not to consider yourself “safe”
Hope that the original poster, @VOR2jIH-ygi is wrong about this, but December, in my experience always produced more or fewer layoffs.
