Our new smit is from target did not have to attend NCO .
We are now selling Target gift cards. That’s true I physically have them. Come in on truck.
Most of our leaders were with Target...majority have never even run a store, but they love to come into the store and tell you how to merchandise..lmao...its a joke...and they wonder why fs sells are down...get some people Into leadership that have actually run a store you mo--ns!!
CVS decides what they want as an outcome and then they come up with a process to get there.
Everyone………… I was with a DM, and Regional 5 years ago, and met Larry Merlo. At that time, he was not interested in F/S, only paving the way for more Pharmacy, Optical, and Minute Clinics. He stated that.
With that said, I am not surprised at all that this is happening to all of the CVS F/Stores.
I heard it with my own ears. By the way, I am a F/S Manager.
80% of front stores lose money? Not sure what area/volume you are in, but the average front store is PROFITABLE. Many stores the FS is 50% of bottom line profits.
This again? It's not happening. Target does not want our front store. Dollar General wouldn't run our FS why the hell would target.
You guys need to come up with some new rumors.
T-b-cco sales,2 billion, gone,no promo ordering, end caps and wings gone , seasonal gone, bottom shelves in stores gone, inventory reduction,no photo staff, no cosmetic staff, 1 truck every 3 weeks, crack down on mark downs, push items gone, upsell program and j hooks gone, all experience retail dms gone, buyers gone, stores with out managers, fs training gone, lp gone, hr gone, Sounds like all changes happening in FS! Top 100 companies should not need all these adjustments!
During one of our takeovers all employees filled out same report and our team selected who to keep. That group then had to be interviewed and reapply at new rates . Most stores were way over staffed Fs and Rph and had to be streamlined. If you are from California chime in with your experience please. No DL and above were absorbed from those companies, all let go up to vp
Actually not true! 80 percent of front stores lose money for the location and are a drain on store profits! Remove the Rx and fs could not pay the rent or the payroll! Example is Rite Aid! The fs mark downs are being reviewed 5 years back to determine how to improve
CVS' front store business on its own would be a fortune 100 business. There is not a damn chance in hell that it would let go of top line revenue of that sheer magnitude. The talent profile piece is to ensure that CVS can have a properly notated company wide talent pipeline for the first time. Everything has been on paper since our founding. This is nothing more than joining the 21st century.
Haha Target managers won't last a week running a CVS.....
