Is this going to work? Do you think 2 full time and 1 part timer can get everything done? None of our receiving associates are staying. Seems like a big mess to me.

Not nessesarily, as of Tuesday the jobs have been illiminated. Just like when they illiminated Audit. They were done the day there job was illiminated. So, I`m not sure why we are still working in our jobs . Im doing the bare minimal with no direction.
Ok...... thanks for telling us what we already know but until December we have a claims associate and receiving associates.
Ok .... let me get something straight. There is no more Claims Assoc. there is no more Rec. Clerk There is no Rec Tl. The two or three people chosen for the "new" postion , Backroom Assoc. will learn all the duties of the three combined.
Claims is not an easy job and now they also want the claims associate to also do receiving? WTF! Obviously HO people have no clue what the job entails. What a bunch of dumb a--(es)!

We have 3 associates in receiving and 2 in claims .
With clubs that has already closed our sales has skyrocketed. Which means we are receiving double the freight as we did before the closures. We can barely keep up now with 3 dock associates and a receiving office clerk who spends 80 percent of her time on the dock helping.And now they think 2 associates will be able to handle the same work load...they say the claims person will help the 2 but our claims associate will not come out of her cage to help anybody.What a mess this is going to be.

Our club is changing the overnight dock guys to 11pm-7am to take care of all the extra freight that needs racked before 7am.
We also are going to be a test club for new stocking programs, including having a 7pm to 3am stocking crew.
It’s coming, we will be ready.
Some are getting more than 3 associates, it is based on the volume of your club

Not all clubs will get 2 and a half associates, we will only get 2. The work will triple, the "backroom" will ALWAYS be a mess. All these new people taking the place of the long term knowledgeable associates will be in real trouble and have been set up for failure.
Too much work with not enough people. The Sam's club way. There is a reason so many are taking the severance package. This is not the same company I started with 25 years ago. That company cared about it's employees. You take care of your associates and they will take care of the members. It's sad it's come so far from what it was. I am happy to leave. Good luck to all that stay. Hope you don't regret it.
It's been just me the tl and 1 claims in our club for almost 3 years. We are high volume
Yes...rec. and claims workers are beimg given first shot at backroom positions....2 1/2 people aint gonna cut it!! Uncomfortably full and shorthanded...a great way to emter the holiday season.....I just hope more apparel comes in since it takes up 70% of the dock....what a complete p--p show!!
No way. Out of curiosity are any of the current receiving and claims associates eligible to apply for the new backroom positions?
