Thread regarding Weatherford International Ltd. layoffs

WFT labs is sold, then what?

What usually happen with those company that get sold?

Especially in mind that the buyer is an investment company.

And what about that smaller office/labs/locations with 20-100 empoyees? (UK, Abu Dhabi, Norway, Kazakhstan, etc)

Do you have some concrete example with a similar company that have been sold?

I did work for Labs, but had to go after 12 years in the company, 2017. (For those of you who want to know: yes, I have another job today)

I just ask for curiosity. I hope my good colleagues from Labs will keep they jobs.

Ha, yeah the entire second floor of Golden should be sacked. Meanwhile, they are being promoted. Hope someone from CSL recognizes that they are trash. Labs management is trying to make themselves look good. A sh-- zebra can’t change its stripes though.

Rebranded, managers sacked usually with the buyers putting their own people in, then business as usual.
